Advice? Help?
The reason I ask this is because me and my girlfriend are having issues, Im not sure if i want to be with her, I feel numb, i like spending time with her and i have many wonderful memories and i dont want to let go, things arent the best but i want them to get better. My gf wants me sure for a fact that i want to be with her., I do ocd so it doesnt help. I dont want to be with anyone else, nor do i want her to be with anyone else, I want things to be better between us and the apathy vail to be liftedAdvice? Help?
if you are feeling numb spice it up. I don't know what type of relationship you have or how old you are so it is hard to give you good ideas. Try leaving notes around the house for a hidden present. A clue that will send her on a treasure hunt in a way and the last clue will send her to a restaurant where she meets up with you buy her something like a necklace or jewelry of some sort a watch with do you know what time it is in the box and the clue to where she can find out a movie she would like etc.... it's a lot of fun to plan and to enjoy the reaction when she arrives.

Umm I kinda need a bit of advice/help...
Hi, so um I want to lose the flab on my stomach. It鈥檚 not that bad and I鈥檓 fine with my thighs and such. I know you can鈥檛 spot reduce but do you have any advice for what I should do. I also have a bit of fat on my hips鈥?suggestions?Umm I kinda need a bit of advice/help...
crunches and side crunches. Standing with good posture also helps flatten out your stomach. Singing works muscles in there that help flatten it as well but if your not a singer that would not be tha best way.
Good luck :))Umm I kinda need a bit of advice/help...
Don't do crunches just yet. It will only tighten the fat and make it hard. You won't become flat. Read up about the south beach diet, it will shrink your stomach and add some cardio as well. Walking is great! Once you see you are starting to lose a little, start crunches.
It's the best and healthiest:)
Change your life style for good...calorie shift your meals and workout as often as possible(cardio %26amp; toning exercises in moderation)...there is no other way to get slim and stay slim for life...swimming,running,jogging,brisk walking, kickboxing, yoga, pilates, dancing and rope skipping are all good for belly fat
cardio is the key... running, elipticle trainers and stuff will totally tone your mucles.
the secret is that just doing one section of your body all the time won't help you. you have to spread it out, one day do abs, the other focus on cardio...
situps can injure you, so do crunches
Running and tons of situps and leg lifts should do the trick.
during each commercial break, do 100 crunches. it helps :)
sit ups, tummy crunches, half crunches. Start off small amounts and build up. Make a log of what you are doing and try and increase it as you can manage. Just make realistic goals thats all. A bit of aerobic exercise too if you can - swimming, walking, jogging etc
Cardio is the best, walk, run, jump rope. Tone up the tummy and hips a bit. Do lunges, squats, and tons of crunches. That should help.
workout and do sit ups i find elliptical machines, and the stair step machine work great for toning and slimming down
100 situps everynight
strengthen your stomach
run everyday.
cruches/situps.
Do 100 sit ups a day.
It tones yor muscles [:
xx
how about try going to the gym?
or don't eat so many pies?

What is a good book to help me learn about stocks? I'm rolling over my 401K into an IRA and would like advice.?
I'm close to graduating college and have been putting funds into my 401K until I was laid off. I've lost close to half of the invested funds and am now wanting to try the stock market. I have little to invest now but plan on contributing more as soon as I can. I just want to learn and know more before I roll over my 401K into an IRA account. What is a good book to help me learn about stocks? I'm rolling over my 401K into an IRA and would like advice.?

I rarely buy individual stocks any more due to the ';single point of failure'; theory. Instead I try and pick a sector using ETFs (both leveraged and non-leveraged).

I am soo nervous! i need your advice! Help!?
Basically, i am nervous all the time. It's so stressing because i don't want to be stressed!
The main reason is my boyfriend: we've been together for over a year now and i truly love him and i know he loves me to ( everything is GREAT between us ). But i have really low self esteem and i am always scared to mess up and to make him want to leave me. every time i tell him something i keep thinking about his reaction! I need to relax, but i just keep hesitating and shaking. Any advice...please??I am soo nervous! i need your advice! Help!?
If your boyfriend really loves you, he wouldnt leave you for little things you do or tiny mess-ups, or even being nervous! If he loves you, he probably fell in love with you beacuse of those little tiny things that make you different from the other girls! I understand being nervous is totally jank sometimes because it sometimes ruins the fun when your doing something. But when you are just remember that everything you do is ment to be and whatever you end up doing God has a plan for it. =) Your never alone!:)I am soo nervous! i need your advice! Help!?

Relationship and love advice...help?
I met a girl whom i liked a lot, and i felt she did the same way, but i dont know what to do next...in other words i dont know how to take things forward to maintain a good relationship...I dont know a lot about her, neither does she, but we just clicked...should i ask her out?call her? text her to check up on her and say hi? i dont know what to do...and if i do it, when to stop! any ideas?Relationship and love advice...help?
It may takes a little time for you to ber sure that she's the right person for you, so just hang out with her a little longer and give it more time to make sure its right or if you mess up you both will be heartbroken and its not good D: so yah. good luck with that.
just when ya do assignment in class be her partner or trying to be friends with her.
Good Luck!Relationship and love advice...help?
I think it would be cute to text her and see how she is, because it shows you were thinking about her. After a little while of texting her i'd call and talk for awhile then ask her out. =) Just don't rush things...
Call her or write her first so you can get to know more about each other and then be more comfortable together.
just send her a message, make a normal conversation, dont seem eager or desperate, and dont text her too much. maybe a 6 text conversation daily untill yall hook up.
ask her out and see where it goes... don't worry about it just hang out with her and be a friend

Girlfriend causing multiple skin problems help/advice?
Basically after french kissing/making out with my girlfriend i will get a rash/ skin irritation on my lower lip that almost looks like very tiny pimples and red dots. They last only a few days but are rather unsightly and sensitive to the touch. Any ideas? I doubt it is an allergic reaction to a food that she eats because we both eat the same foods and if it was something specific it would not occur as often as it does. Could this be an allergic reaction to her lipstick? Or worse her saliva?
In addition I will sometimes get a rash in my pubic region above the penis, but never on the penis, after sex. The rash will usually only last a day or so. Could this be an allergic reaction to female ejaculate or possibly sweat? She is fairly well kept also and i have never seen anything like it on her.
Neither of these happened with my previous girlfriend, please advise.Girlfriend causing multiple skin problems help/advice?
Maybe you both have different skin base, one more acid base and the other alkaline base, so with so much prolonged kissing, and pelvic skin rubbing, this is causing the rashes.Girlfriend causing multiple skin problems help/advice?
It could be thrush, which is a fungal infection affects both the genital areas and mouth and is itchy. It could equally be the herpes virus, which causes coldsores and the STI herpes.
Or it could be an allergic reaction to a product she uses, a soap, perfume, moisturiser, shampoo? Or maybe the rashes are some kind of nervous, or even excited reaction from kissing or sleeping with your girlfriend. You don't mention whether the the rashes you experience in different parts of your body appear the same or not. Perhaps show her the rash (approach it in a jokey way, don't just start accusing her) and see if she can shed any light on it herself.
It's extremely rare, but sometimes people actually are allergic to some other people.
Or you could be allergic to her perfume or make-up.
Hello,
This could be from friction. Some people just have more sensative skin than others.
Jay
You may want to consider visiting a doctor for allergy and STD testing...although your girlfriend may well kept, she could also be the carrier of illness and show no immediate symptoms...just something to think about.
you could possibly be allergic to a lotion or body spray or even a perfume she is wearing...and those are sensitive areas so the reaction shows up there ...

Doing stuff with a boy.[need advice help]
Hi, before you lot start I am old enough etc and in a good relationship lol. Weve talked about and agreed that i want to give him head but i need tips lol. And anything really in that area what ideas would you give for me to try anything to wow him really any tips welcome.. thankyouu :) Doing stuff with a boy.[need advice help]
$h!t hes gonna like whatever you do :P haha
just keep your teeth away! :)Doing stuff with a boy.[need advice help]
i can tell you what NOT to do:
1. use your teeth
2. just lick it and not put it in your mouth
3. just put the head in your mouth
You dont have to be a pro and deep throat the whole thing, but use your hands on the part of the shaft that isnt in your mouth. If you are down for it, let him finish in your mouth...it sucks when chicks go down on you and then make you tell them when you are about to come so it doesnt go in their mouth!
Edit: Oral sex is not losing your virginity and it is not slutty if you are in a serious relationship! Dont let other people tell you what you can and cant do.
it doesn't matter how old you are, or how good your relationship is, really....you need to be married before you mess around like that.
there's still chances of std's and i would consider giving oral SEX losing your virginity.
agh, what's wrong with the world these days?
i was SO nervous the first time iw as going to give head, but trust me it you'll just know what to do. use your hand too. haa.
Dont know just go for it my parents freak when they found out i wanted to do it!

Help and advice on Weight loss?
I'm a male 6ft 1, 182 pounds, 16.4% body fat. I workout intensely quite a lot but i seem to be gaining weight as i used to be 178 pounds i'm not adding resistance training or eating more than i used to and its not the scale. Its becoming impossible to get back down to 178 pounds. How can i get down?Help and advice on Weight loss?
I have been through it all and know what's it about. The main thing is to stick in there. You can't be an addict to food and never exercise if you want to live a healthy life and keep the weight off. I've worked out, done every diet, and all types of classes.
Nothing works, besides dedication and intelligence towards the subject of losing weight.
First, depending on how much weight you need to lose, your diet is the first concern. You can't eat 10,000 calories a day and expect the weight to come off, even if you are exercising a lot. Which brings us to the next thing. Duh, Exercising...
This is a must especially if you need to a lot of weight. Get at least 30 mins of some good hardcore exercising. Do some cardio, in the long run, it's good for the heart.
However, I find the most hardest part of losing weight/keeping it off, in my diet. It's so hard to keep your fingers out of the cookie jar or those chocolate goodies. I've found a great addition to help any one out, it's a natural weight loss supplement called Proactol. Now don't get all crazy on me and say diet pills don't work. That is true, but not in this case. This one isn't meant to burn pounds while you sit on the couch. It's an appetite suppressant, along with being a fat binder. I saved money on the pills at theweightlossplace dot com along with getting some good info. It basically makes those fingers not go towards the cookie jar. For me it's the best pill I've tried and I've tried cupboards full. Now this doesn't mean you have to follow my foot steps but I've successfully lost roughly 70 pounds and keeping it off til this day.
Well good luck and remember what I said, Dedicate.Help and advice on Weight loss?
When you train you have to make sure you don't eat more. You only lose water when you train.
There is only one solution, you have to go for long periods of time feeling hungry. You will feel a little light headed at times but you will have to reap the whirl wind at some time.
I train every day and run 3 miles on a sunday and still can't lse my fat.
If we ate only read, water and carrat soup for two weeks i think this would work.
You need to work it out of you with lighter weights and train faster i call it speed training you will work up quite a sweat but it should work.bright lipstick

I know it varies by who is available and where I am picking, but would like a little help.Fantasy football advice, I need help, please answer?????
Rule of thumb: 2 out of the first 3 rounds...select rb's. All the top ones will be gone after that. Since rb's and qb's usually score the most fantasy points, select your qb next. But since you can pick up a really decent qb as late as the 5th or 6th rounds and top wr's are scarce this year, You might want to pick up that top receiver before you pick your qb. Save te's, def/st's %26amp; k's for last. Then pick your bench players on the basis of the best players available. Make sure that all your starting players are starters. Try a mock draft. Cbs sports has them 24 hrs a day. It'l give you a pretty good idea once you see the results.Fantasy football advice, I need help, please answer?????
Usually it is best to get a running back. You can google, espn top 200 fantasy football 2008 and it will give you a list of the top 200 scoring projections. There are certain things to watch for such as a drop off in scoring. After Tom Brady, Peyton Manning, and Carson Palmer there is usually a big drop off, points wise in the qb position so it would make it worth it to get running backs after that. Try to not go for running backs that split carries with many other running backs. This is the case with maurice jones drew and it used to be the case with marion barber. He was always only the erd down back but now he may get more carries.
Usually go with a RB early. The only players worth taking over a RB early would be Tom Brady or Peyton Manning. There aren't a lot of great QBs, so I would get one pretty early, but it all depends on who is there. WRs go after RBs and all depends on when you want a QB. Go with a Kicker last and your defense in the late rounds. Pick a TE after the 5th round.
It really depends on the scoring system in your league. Do QB's get 4 or 6 pts for a TD? Do rb/wr you get points per reception? How many players do you have to start, 2 rbs or 3? Usually go rb,rb, wr, wr, qb...then fill in the rest. But say QB's get 6pts a TD, then may want to draft a QB in the 2nd rd. Points per reception help rb's like reggie bush, or steven jackson.
Taking the best player available regardless of position is never a bad draft strategy. That is how I would go. That said, don't bother picking a kicker until the very last round. It's a wasted pick.

(10 points if you help)(Auto immune diseases)Can you give me any advice?
I have 3 or 4 Autoimmune disease. Fibromialgia, Hashimotoe(thyroid diseases), Candida, and now my doc thinks I have Lupus. The blood test came back positive, but they can sometimes be wrong( thats what my doc said) Any advice from other people???? How to cope? Things that helps the diseases? Anything?(10 points if you help)(Auto immune diseases)Can you give me any advice?
Yes, I have Chronic Fatigue Syndrome and Hashimoto as well. What I found to help more than all the medicine they will give you is to stop eating chemicals in your food. MSG (mono sodium glutamate) can mean trouble for you, I know it does for me. MSG has many name and a little research will give you answers. It stays in your system for a week. The turning point in my illness is when I stayed three weeks at the Optimum Health Institute in San Diego.(10 points if you help)(Auto immune diseases)Can you give me any advice?

There's nothing unusual about what your feeling. It's perfectly normal to question what your purpose in life is and wondering how you can achieve your dreams or aspirations. Yes it is even normal to doubt yourself and wonder where your going with life.
Sounds like you have a bit of depression. Speak to your doctor, and/or a counselor they are qualified to help you and know how.

Starting college advice, help?
I'm starting college next month and I've just found out, none of my friends are no longer going. I'm going alone and I'm terrified. I'll have no one to sit with on the train and no one to sit with whilst eating lunch. Can someone please tell me what it's like to start college? Has anyone else started college alone, what was it like?Starting college advice, help?
That's what college is for- to break free and meet new people! I moved into the dorms at my college only knowing 2 people who i was not even friends with. Trust me, you'll make friends. You should be excited! Everyone else will be in the same boat you are on :)Starting college advice, help?
Treat it like an adventure! There are going to be thousands of people who are in the same boat as you. Don't worry! My best suggestion, join a club, talk to people on your dorm floor, and/or get a job on campus. Awesome opportunity to meet people!
And if you are worried about eating lunch alone, a book always helps :)
Good Luck!!!

Please help/advice for heel pain?
I have moderate to sharp pain in both heels, especially after sleeping or inactivity. It also seems to be worse after anything but the most healthy of foods. It has been affecting me for almost a year. Although the severity comes and goes, it has never left completely during that time. Stretching helps a little. I have been trying to lose weight and eat much better which helps but I am depressed because I don't want to live with this for the rest of my life. Any hope? Please give advice! Please help/advice for heel pain?
Could be plantar faciaitis, which is like tennis elbow of the bottom of your feet. Pain upon waking is a prime indicator. There are lots of treatments for it, and I have had them all over the years, but one simple, cheap one that really helped me quickly when I got tired of all the high tech iontophoresis, sleeping in foot braces, shots of cortisone in my feet, etc. was to soak my feet in a big pot of really hot water with EPSOM SALTS in it. You can pick up Epsom salts at any drug store, WalMart. Make the water as hot as you can stand it, but don't burn yourself, and dump in double the amount of salts recommended on the package for soaking. Soak till the water is not hot anymore. Worked like a charm after about a week of doing it nightly. One time I had PF for over two years and went through Physical Therapy but this is the one thing that finally, quickly helped me. If not, you can go for PT and cortisone pads with ultrasound or iontophoresis, or other methods of pushing the medicine in, but try the Epsom Salts first. Wearing shoes that really support your arch and are not too hard will also help. Please help/advice for heel pain?
I had the exact same condition last year. I went to the doctor and he said that it was ';plantar fasciitis.';
From MayoClinic.com:
';Most commonly, heel pain is caused by inflammation of the plantar fascia 鈥?the tissue along the bottom of your foot that connects your heel bone to your toes.';
My doctor told me there were a couple of things I could do:
- Roll a small frozen water bottle under my foot. That helps with the inflammation.
- Get an orthopedic insert for my shoes that alleviates some of the weight/pressure on the heel.
After about a month, the pain went away!
I would definitely go see your doctor to get this properly diagnosed.
Sounds like it's the same pain I started out with about 2 yrs ago and my pain gradually got worse but with a day off my feet I felt better till the next day of work. I had to change my work hrs to every other day. But I just tonight found the answer after having to call off from work again...Get some arch supports I had those walk fit insoles in my closet and finally strapped them to my feet and was able to stand and walk again and the pain slowly went away. Now I'm searching for some good arch support shoes!!!
go to a foot doctor. you might need special inserts in your shoes made be a doctor to correct your feet. Is you feet flat. you also might have to go to physical therapy. you might have plantar fasciitis or heel spurs. they make your feet hurt a lot in the morning until you stretch them. the therapies can also give you special exercise for your feet at home. If your over weight it might be that you really need to lose some weight to get some pressure off. try weight watchers there pretty good.bright lipstick

I need professional help or advice. I have OCD and I cant keep a job.?
I have had 50 jobs in 8 years. I have a lot of bills and I cant seem to keep a job. It makes me feel like a bum and a nobody. I cant stand living like this. I have no money for prescriptions or mental health care. I dont know what to do. My mom is very sick and I am trying to get a great job or career so I can also help her out. I have very good intentions and a big heart but I cant succeed in life. Any advice would be most helpful.I need professional help or advice. I have OCD and I cant keep a job.?
Well, you should go to the state and get Medicaid or some other insurance. You will be able to get them for a few dollars or even free. Now about the job, you will have to get a note from your doctor and apply for disability. If you can't keep a job then you should be able to get disability. It will take a long time before you are approved, some people have to apply at least two time before they get it. IN the meantime you can get welfare ot help out a bit.
On the lighter side: A lady at my job has OCD. She does her rituals all of the time and it takes her so much longer to do a task than other people. Many people don't like her and complain about her, but I explained to everyone of them why she does and what is wrong with her. They have become more accepting but she still fails to meet the standards at work sometimes. However, the company has been rather lenient on her. I work in a warehouse and so it isn't' as strict as most places. I depends on the job you get. You could actually tell them after you get your foot in the door and they will have to accommodate your disability into their company. OCD is a disability in its most severe form so you should be able to receive special privileges and exceptions.
Good luck and know you're not alone;
The lady at my job is a mess and she's been working there for about 6 years!!!I need professional help or advice. I have OCD and I cant keep a job.?
My best advise would be to find a job that works with your ocd. For example if you can't stop cleaning, get a job as a maid or house cleaner. You will be the best at what you do. Maybe who you are is a blessing not a curse. Analyze yourself and maybe read a book to help you understand yourself. Think positive and not negative even in tough situations and eventually positive things will come back to you.
Why should OCD cause you to lose a job so often? I would aim that complex at the job tasks and be ';OCD with work.';
People with OCD tend to be perfectionists so I don't see how this could be a flaw to employers. I recommend you get a job as an accountant or something that's tedious and need attention to detail.
We can't give you advice because there's not nearly enough info.
You've not even told us what form of OCD you have.
Did you know that living with that is a disability? My sister cant keep a job either due to her illness. She went to social security and applied for disability and got a ss lawyer. She got it, and now doesnt have to worry about a job. You should look into it. Call your local ss office. If you do, all the records you have on your jobs would be good and will help you prove your case.
You should have a local office there in your area somewhere for mental health. Free of charge. Ask ss about that too.
Wow. I have ADD and perfectionist tendencies, but OCD, even though it is a tough disease is one of those ones that has a few benefits. I'd keep on looking for jobs, but I'd try putting up flyers to be a professional organizer, that's one of the careers people want you to be OCD for. You can set your own hours and so on, and do it on the side of another career if you want.
I have bipolar disorder and I've had a similar problem keeping a job. I am on disability now and I volunteer when I can. It is not ideal, I would much rather have a job that pays more, but like you I have not been able to handle it. You can apply for disabilty and Medicaid to pay your medical bills. Your mom might appreciate having you around to help her more than having your money. First, deal with your mental health issues, then work on going back to work. You already know that you cannot hold a job with your current mental symptoms so take care of that first.

London traveling advice...? Help me out ASAP (easy points)?
I am traveling to London in a few weeks on a chaperoned trip and I was wondering if anyone could give me some advice on overseas traveling.
#1 Things I must bring (besides the obvious passport, money, phone...)
#2 What weather to expect there (scarves/hat? warmer or colder)
#3 Anything I should buy that would be helpful while I'm over there?
#4 Any any any any advice/words of wisdom/experiences
I appreciate it SO much!London traveling advice...? Help me out ASAP (easy points)?
They haven麓t given you a list, yet? Ask the chaperon.
It will be cold in the winter! It IS a northern country. Bring winter clothing.
Anything that is electrical needs to have a converter (for the voltage) and an adaptor (for the plug) DON'T bother with your cell phone, because it probably won't work there. Check first, with your service, but then, I found that the battery was lessened by using their electricity...shorter lifespan.
DON'T FORGET YOUR CAMERA (I don't know whether you term that a no brainer, it is for me...) and extra memory! You will want more than you think you will.
Travel light. don't carry a whole bunch of unnecessary stuff. You're only going to be there for, what? a week or two? You can do without a lot of stuff.
OH! and some sort of handheld games are fun for the flight...it's going to be LONG!
And Ipods are good, too, especially for the flight.London traveling advice...? Help me out ASAP (easy points)?
1: Bring a camera, an umbrella, and some warm clothes.
2: Cold weather with rain.
3: Buy a map, or get a bus map.
4: Don't change money until you get there. Tube is easy, but bus is cheaper.

Need some advice (help) with my Computer!?
My Computer get麓s very hot after being on for an half an hour and when i download games,it shuts off on me after being only five minutes into the game. Then i have to start all over again with everything.I really need some advice (HELP!).Need some advice (help) with my Computer!?
Three possibilities.
1. Your computer is full of dust and gunk.
2. The air intakes/air vents on the computer are getting blocked.
3. One or more fans are failing in the computer.
Solutions :-
1. open the side panel and (gently, with the computer turned off) use a fan (or your lungs, careful, don't spit in there) to blow the dust out.
2. Ensure every vent is at least 2 inches from any obstruction and has access to airflow.
3. With the side off turn on the pc and take a look. If any fans aren't moving, or are moving slowly then they need repairing. Call a technically inclined person or take it to a repair shop.Need some advice (help) with my Computer!?
hi pat, this is what your computer is doing overworking your video drivers and it is causing your system to over heat. recommend that you change your video card to be able to run 8800gts. those video driver can handle that kind of power to be used. another way i can put this is to play a video game would be rather boring if the characters were not in color so that is the reason that your pc is getting so hot it takes a lot of power to play those games but with a 8800gts can handle that kind of power and performance. but i recommend that if you install the card yourself just be very careful not to damage the chips that goes into your motherboard. other than that i hope you win and i hope i have been helpful to you good luck
1. you can change your Power unit (or power supply box or called adapter) where it contain the back side of the pc.
2. Or you can change your Processor Fan. When you attached the fan be sure that your fan is attached with the processor clearly. no gape between them.
3. or you are not using thermal casing which have enough casing fan.

ur computer is constantly over heating then there may be some problem with it. i think ur computer is strongly recommended for servicing.
just take it to ny of the store and repair it.
and u can also check for any viruses and spywares.
thanx and please rate my answer as ur best one.
Your PC is protected from over heating by shutting itself down, It probably needs cleaning. You can buy an air can to do this. If this does not work then the fan is faulty you will need to replace it
if it is a pc try cleaning out the dust. My laptop was doing that and I found out it was becasue I was using it in a very dusty environment.

Forget putting them on websites. Try getting them in magazines, then try getting them published in a book.Aspiring poet needing help n advice on writing a book?
Do you also have illustrations? Publishing companies now have all the resources to publish books with the same productivity and efficacy as that of regular black and white books you see in physical bookstores. Considering the fact that most books are in full color, you should choose a publishing company whose book鈥檚 are of the highest quality, bar none. I'm sure your book will turn out great.
Targeting your poems to a niche market means that this will be best published in a publishing company that does just that.
Good luck :)

My first belt test tomorrow night @ 5:30 I need some advice Please HELP?
I am testing for my yellow belt tomorrow at 5:30pm. I was told that I can come on in 30 early to practice my form and one steps. What can I do not to be scared. I dont want to mess up and not get my yellow belt. I worked so hard to not pass my yellow belt test. How long would it take me to achieve black belt? I am a white belt going on Low Yellow belt.My first belt test tomorrow night @ 5:30 I need some advice Please HELP?
Well its a good thing that your mind is on your testing and your asking questions. Its an ok thing to be scared to go and do testing I know that i was scared my first time and my 2nd and my 3rd and so on. You just have to tell yourself i'm ready for this, I know i can do this. You might have dout but thats ok too just tell yourself you WILL do good. To get to black belt isn't an easy walk in the park, you Must prove yourself to your teacher and train train TRAIN your hart out to get to your goals. Train to become first place at all times no body trains and says I'm training to become 3rd place everyone trains to become 1st someday. ( Just thought i would ad that :) But it takes time and pain and tears at times in the gym but when its all said and done and IF you put ALL YOU GOT into it, you'll probibly come out with what you wanted. But remember a Black Belt is just the start of the quest stay calm, you have all the time in the world to get to what you want, trust me put your hart into your training and you'll do just fine :) Good luck and have a good dayMy first belt test tomorrow night @ 5:30 I need some advice Please HELP?
Fear in martial arts ';tests'; usually has to do with ego. Either a personal vanity or a security concern around others judgement. During your 30 minute practice be sure to not be interupted. If anyone interupts you, except sensei, politely let them know you need some solitude to prepare for your test...unless of course you have partners performing with you. During your practice use full natural breaths and check that on occasion...don't hold your breath. Most importantly keep your center and focus. Keep your physical center by relaxing the body. Keep your mental center by letting all past %26amp; future concerns dissolve from your mind. Keep your emotional center by filling your confidence in accord with your warming %26amp; kinesthetically sensitizing body.
When you perform your test you will be aware of the audience, but try to imagine your alone. Don't care what others are thinking about you. Ignore any audience response whether negative or positive. Focus only on what you are doing and completing it as well as you can. When you are finished, Rei (bow)...with gratitude to yourself for your efforts, your sensei for the space, and the universe the opportunity...no need to smile or frown...just take it all in. This is the best you can do to deal with fear at this point.
This is why martial arts build self-confidence. If you really have worked very hard to pass the test- I assure you that you should have no problems. :) I wish you all the luck in the world. Just do you best- you're still a beginner. I remember my first belt test... hahahaha They don't expect you to be a ninja assassin already!
Just pull yourself inside as if the room was empty and do your best. That is all that can be expected.
Please just relax. If you practice breathing exercises in class do so. If you don't, just breath in equal amount of air, and exhale same amount. As well doing so in same time period. Inhale 6 seconds, exhale 6 seconds. The longer you practice breathing exercises, you will increase this time period. 10 seconds, inhale, 10 exhale, then it will be 15 seconds, then 20 and even 30 seconds on inhale/ 30 seconds exhale. As well do so with tongue on roof of mouth, very important to be grounded.
If you have been practicing and not missing class then again, just relax. Visualize your moves even, very good tool for learning, and adjusting moves in Kata. Sit down relax, and close your eyes, and visualize your Kata movements. If you do you will as well see, where you might have a error in Kata. I require this of all my seito.bright lipstick

Fully discovered and scientifically perfect.
Between the ages of 30 - 35, she is like India %26amp; Japan.
Very hot, wise and beautiful !!!!!!!!!
Between the ages of 35 - 40 a woman is like France.
She is half destroyed after the war but still desirable.
Between the ages of 40 - 50 she is like Germany.

Between the ages of 60 - 70 a woman is like England.
With a glorious past but no future.
After 70, they become Siberia.
Everyone knows where it is, but no one wants to go there.
First of all, you have plenty of years before you have to worry about getting old, but nonetheless, here are some tips to help you feel and look better!
Looking good doesn't mean you have to do something extra special. Drink lots of water everyday. This will help you keep that young looking glow while also fighting against dryness.
If you have normal skin, you can use a regular moisturizer . If dry, try one from clinique. If combo, one from este lauder will work perfect. Use one of these every morning before applying your make up. This will help it last throughout the day and stop any flaking.
Hair color and a cut is always something that can be done to make you look younger. A mistake many adults make is to go for something that they think is hip at the time (such as bright red mullet hair..or something crazy like that)..Do something that compliments what you like. Trying too hard to look young will really show! Try some subtle layers around your face. If you have never wore bangs before and are up for a change, try that. Add some low-lights or highlights, not all over, but just around your face to highlight.
Don't over-do your make up. Sometimes a simple foundation, blush, mascara, and chapstick or lipgloss is perfect for a day of running errands or a jeans day.
Keep up with the styles, but again, don't over do it. Remember just because it was the latest fashion to wear leggings in 2006 doesn't mean that it will be in 2010. Choose age appropriate attire, but not ';old lady'; clothes.
Last, but not least, be yourself, do what you love, don't be afraid to try new things and stay curious. Even though looking like you are young is important, feeling like it is just as important.
have 10 hours sleep,eat heathly,keep fit %26amp; drink a lot of water
Tell people your 45.
That way, you'll look GREAT for your age ;)
Exercises, eat right and have a open mind.
you can't stay young but you can always be beautiful. spend time on caring for your skin, especially the neck/decolletage area. use hand cream several times a day. get a great hairdresser. keep hair colour and clothes subtle, keep up to date without being extreme. have sex regularly. you have the best years of your life ahead of you. live them to the full.
Moisturize!!!
eat healthy and work out. try not to stress a lot. learn to say no and dont worry so much.
I'd tell her to sleep with me. It might work...
do abit of light exercise from time to time to keep a nice complection and an all round feeling of good health. Have a healthy diet and .. i dont know.. I'm only 15..
I'm not 30 I'm 15 but what I do all the time is just stop what your doing and give yourself a makeover forget everyday life and problems and just give yourself a new look take a bath straighten your hair or do your eyeliner different it gives you just a little boost for the week , Good Luck :)

Help need some advice about my german shepherd?
can anyone tell me why my dogs third eyelid is so red he is 19 months old been to the vets first they said eye infection so had treatment that did'nt work then they said an allergy so anti-inflamms given that has'nt worked this vet worked in conjunction with the rescue center were we got him from his time with them is now over so it's down to us he had this problem when a photo was taken of him in the kennels on 1st august please helpHelp need some advice about my german shepherd?
It sounds as if it might be Cherry Eye which is a condition which does occur in German Shepherds.
http://www.upei.ca/cidd/Diseases/ocular%鈥?/a>
Less likely that it could be Pannus.
Take him to another vet for a second opinion.
http://www.upei.ca/cidd/Diseases/ocular%鈥?/a>Help need some advice about my german shepherd?
Personally I would contact the rescue center direct, and surely if the problem was there went you first adopted him, the responsability partly lays with them.
Can I also say, that your question would be an awful lot easier to read if you used punctuation marks. Sorry to be picky but I had to read it at least 2 or 3 times to make any sense of it.
I would find another vet and keep looking untill I got an answer from someone . it does not seem like your vet has an answer and he or she is just guessing at this . I would not wait it could mean your dogs eyesight ,. good luck .
Personally,I'd get him to another vet asap.
Vets are people.People make mistakes.Especially when they're overworked and burned out.
A second opinion is never a bad idea.

I need some advice regarding a accident can u help?
I was in a accident had no drivers licence was on a insurance policy as a excluded driver the veical I had the accident in was damaged. I am no longer employeed so have no income to pay if he sues me what will happenI need some advice regarding a accident can u help?
If he sues you he sues you. I mean there is really anything you can do about that. In all reality he is at a lost, he can't receive money for damages from the insurance company because you were a excluded driver. It wouldn't matter if you had a license of not. The judge will issue him damages and if you get a job they may garnish your check until the balance is paid. You may can talk to the owner of the car and work a payment plan out and go from there and avoid the courts. I wish you luck this is a scary thing and i'm glad your okay. I need some advice regarding a accident can u help?
a lawsuit can be scary a judge in any case can always award a judgment to someone that doesnt mean they can collect you always hear about big companies being sued for millions this does not mean that anyone can ever collect. in your situation some states have a no fault law im in michigan where it prevents a person from being sued in an auto accident they are required to always go thru there own insurance carrier no matter who is at fault.
You're in a world of hurt. Do you plan on being unemployed for the rest of your life? They have ways of making you pay.

You might consult a tax person as it may put you in a higher tax bracket for the near future, and then consider investing or getting information in that category.Help I need advice this it will be fast?
Of course it's possible if your are creative, responsible, and clear headed. Your winnings don't predict an increase you do. It depends on how much you make at your job, or if you have a great idea for an invention now u have the money to establish that, or something like that.

Sports-Cheer leading- need help/advice for dances etc.?
I just got into Varsity Cheer leading at my school and Ive never done any sport, or taken a dance class. I'm worried cause i had trouble memorizing the dance we had t do for try outs then doing it correctly. Any advice on what i can do to help me memorize the moves and perform the dance cheers and chants correctly?Sports-Cheer leading- need help/advice for dances etc.?
i had a problem with memorizing them too but what i did was practiced every time i had a chance to, weather it was only 2 or 5 minutes. I think you should do that and have fun with it, thats the best way to practice and get the steps down. Also in cheer leading you should always pop your moves and make sure that if your hands move so do your eyes. trust me im captain in my cheer leading squad.
For dance the easiest thing to do is learn the first 8 steps and once you get those down move on to the next 8 and so on! it will take time but after doing it for a wile it will start to get easier.!!!!Sports-Cheer leading- need help/advice for dances etc.?
The more your brain is exposed to having to learn things in a short amount of time, the easier it will get.
Stay calm if you can think about the next move while you're dancing it will seem extremely easy. The more ways you can find about how this move connects and flows into the next, the faster you'll get it.
I hope I could help!!
By practicing it often, and making sure you understand it will help. I'm not the best dancer out there, but if you can at least make the movements look clean and sharp, it will help! Trust me, cheer dances dont take years of dance expirence :)

I need some advice oin how to trim my dog's hair at home. Can you help?
My dog is a wonderful, 16 yr. old Lhasa Apso. He's a bit cranky when i trim his fur in some places, but I have to keep him trimmed during the Az. summer day heat. Any advice on how to trim a grumpy, old dog?I need some advice oin how to trim my dog's hair at home. Can you help?
I had to trim my bearded collie when he got older and was really sick. This was a dog who loved being groomed and had hair down to the ground, but he just didn't enjoy the grooming anymore, so I cut him short so he looked like a 6 month old puppy.
If your dog can tolerate standing long enough, just take a good, sharp pair of scissors and cut his hair to a uniform length of a couple of inches. If he can't stand, do it in stages or have him lying on his side. Use blunt-tipped scissors to trim his face and paws.
You don't want to cut him too short because he needs some coat for protection from the sun. Lots of quiet praise while you're trimming and give him a few treats now and then. He'll feel better when he's done and it'll all be worth it.I need some advice oin how to trim my dog's hair at home. Can you help?
Be careful when trimming the hair on a grumpy dog, first sounds stupid but you do not want to get bit. Second you do not want to accidental cut your dog in the process. One thing to look into is a school for Grooming are usually looking for practice animals. Give them a call and see if you can get your dog in.
Go to Animal planet then go to the show me or the dog, they have advice on how to train/groom etc... your dogs. Also have someone hold a treat in front of it and let him nip at at while you do it, but don't let him eat it all untill you are done, this keeps him distracted and lets him know something good comes when he gets groomed.
A professional groomer is best but if you can't, you can actually ask your vet for a mild sedative. That's what we did for our yorkie because she is just scared to death of groomers. She just slept while we trimmed her really well! :]
With lots of patience. Remember, it may be painful or uncomfortable for him to have to be put into certain positions. It may be easier if you have a second person to help you hold him.
You can take the dog to the vet and they'll do it for you.

My bro likes a girl at school and he wants my advice on how to make her like him...Any help?
My brother's really desperate and keeps dreaming about her!My bro likes a girl at school and he wants my advice on how to make her like him...Any help?
Sometimes dreams happen when we are worried about sometime...depending on how old he is you can say many things to help because you are family and can help. He really must think alot about you to ask to a personal question like this???? Just be there for him and hope that can have the 'magic' in him to ask her out. Just say acted cool and be yourself and hope for the best. It might just work. sorry if it does mot.My bro likes a girl at school and he wants my advice on how to make her like him...Any help?
A lot of people say just be yourself. If you be yourself, the girl will know what you look like and dress appropriately. Never wear a shirt too tight or too loose. If you want to wear skinny jeans, then it's okay. No leather pants or you'll have red marks at the end of the day.
Another thing, ask the girl whether she likes poetry. You can recite out a nice poem to her. The poem must be appropriate. Don't recite ';Life's Brief Candle'; by Shakespeare. It's about a dude having a meaningless life.
How you going to make her hey.lol.Are you going to drug her or something.I think you should let youir brother take the reins i;m sure he is quite capable.Unless he's retarded?.If so.Then my bad.
Tell him to be himself. Approach her casually, be nice ... depending on how old he is, he could ask her on a group date to the movies or something.
wat maybe id support my bro and his relationships
but never im gonna help in forging his relationships
tats his part let him do it well if it fails it fails tats life
tell him to make the dream come true and go and ask her out it is the only way , whats to lose
Don't set his hopes too high..girls can be mean.

I am trying to be an actor. any help/advice?
I am really trying to be an actor, or model, I am really good at both, my family doesn't really know how to go about it, or have any clue really. if you can help or have any advice at all it would help. thank you.I am trying to be an actor. any help/advice?
FOR ACTING - Move to a major city. Eventually, New York or Los Angeles will be your destination, but as you build your resum茅 of experience you can work in other major metropolitan areas that have good theater or film communities.
Enroll in acting class. Good actors study their entire lives. To choose a good class, ask trusted, successful professionals for references.
Get a headshot.
Compose a resum茅 of all the work you have done so far. As your body of work grows, drop the less professional work (such as school plays) from your resum茅.
Send your headshot and resum茅 with a brief cover letter to all the casting directors and agents in your area. Follow up with postcards every four to six months, updating them on your current acting projects.
Read the trade papers regularly: ';Backstage,'; ';Dramalogue,'; ';The Ross Reports'; and ';Variety,'; as well as online publications such as newenglandfilm.com, as appropriate. Know what is being cast where, and send headshots and notes directly to directors and producers whenever possible, requesting auditions.
Always accept invitations to industry events and parties, and meet industry professionals whenever possible. Who you know is extremely important.
FOR MODELING - You'll need a modeling portfolio, I'm sure you'll all know what one of those is but for those that don't it's basically a selection of pictures showing yourself in different outfits and poses. The standard size for the photos is 9 by 12 inches and you'll need around 10 - 12 photos. Make sure you focus on quality rather than quantity, remember, you're only as good as your worst photo. Make sure your portfolio has a selection of both head shots and full body shots. Make sure you get a variety of different looks such as swimwear, catalogue and lingerie, you get the idea, also get a couple of black and white shots in there. Avoid using pictures of the same shot.
It can be very advantageous to have photographs from different photographers in a portfolio. This will show the versatility in terms of styles and it will prove that a model can work with a variety of different people. Obviously, the cost of hiring different photographers for a portfolio is prohibitive, but there are many excellent photographers out there who will do prints for time - and of course many more bad ones. If you research what's on offer well, it can be an excellent alternative.
Before going ahead with a photo session ask to look at the photographers portfolio to see if you like his style of photography. No doubt if you go to the photographers studio to book the appointment he will have examples of his work on display anyway. If you've never done modelling before this will also be an excellent practice run for you. Avoid photographers wanting to take nude shots, if possible take a friend with you to the shoot.I am trying to be an actor. any help/advice?
What Jess said.
I would rather try my luck in LA than in NY, since there is more work in that field in Los Angeles.
The thing is, you will probably need to do some other type of work other than acting. Don't shy away from that since you'll need all types of experiences to become a GOOD serious actor.
Learn to do some accents (you get a big chance of listening to a lot of different accents in LA) and just study how regular humans behave. Since we are all actors at heart. We always wear a mask and we lie all the time. So learn from the pros. Go to City Hall ;)
Good luck!

Dont worry about it. In college there is someone for everyone. Everyone fits in even if you are wearing some frumpy outfit. Relax. People will love whatever you wear if they love you. Work on the inside not the outside.

anything is actually okay for high school as long as it's casual.
and Abercrombie and fitch has good stuff too.
i was a freshman last year, and honestly, wear whatever you want. just dont wear anything too skanky, like the first day dont wear a reallyyyy short skirt or anything, because you don't want to get a bad reputation right away, but just wear like cute stuff, and make your own style. you wont get picked on or anything, but if you give off a bad vibe on the first day, the guys might notice you, not the way you want them to, and the girls are going to tear you apart and talk so much trash about you, so just keep it classy for a while, but it's pretty much up to you, just don't go way over the top.
few shirts , few T, few pajama, undergarments, pants, tie as per fashion..
Well my highschool is uniform but we have free days where you can wear nonuniform stuff
I wear jeans and a screen tee and my favorite chucks.
I may sound cheap but i LOVELOVELOVE savers!!
I get ae af stuff there for 3-7 dollars
plus I find a ton of great vintage stuff.
hey ummm, first of all i just want to say that everyone is worried about their first year of high school...but the truth is that you will never grow out of this phase. the thing is that u should always be comfortable in whatever u wear and coordinate. u dont have to stick to one style but just make sure that you dont steal anyone else's( be original and you wont be forgotten) o h yea....about coordinance, make sure that u have on at least 1 color throughout your whole outfit that stickz out...for example...wear a yellow watch, yellow shoes and a yellow headband...and u'll be okay....just make sure whatever you put together doesnt actually look thrown together and alwayz accept compliments no matter how you feel about your outfit. Rock your clothes like ur on a runway and you'll be fine....
p.s.- just a comment....this morning i changed 3 shirts and 5 pants and 2 pairs of shoes before i actually found the outfit...lol....AND I'M JUST A SOPHMORE!!!!
I'm an incoming fresh, too! I do cross country and a lot of the girls told us what to wear:
~Don't wear anything to fancy on the first day, it'll look like you're trying to impress someone.
~Have sweaters in your locker for changing temps.
~Dress comfortable (obviously)
~Have you own style or signatre item
~You might want to wear: Skinny jeans, cute hoodies, metallic flats, babydoll tops, funky jewelry, and pea coats!
Also: Have fun and good luck!!!!! Wish me good luck, too!

Ive been haveing trouble asking girls on a date. Does anyone have any advice that might help me?
Yes, and I'm a girl, so I should know.
Obviously, you want to play it safe, you are afraid of rejection and so on. So the best thing to do - for you and for the girl in question - is not to ask her on a date. Instead, ask her to go see a movie with you. Or go to this great show that is coming to town for just a couple of nights. Or teach her surfing, or ride your bikes in the woods one afternoon. Basically, you want to invite her to have some fun with you. Have an activity, so that you don't have to sit in awkward silence. Movie is a safe choice, because you just get to sit in the dark and maybe secretly hold hands for a couple of hours, and then you can start talking... about how you liked the movie. If you want to feel like a real gentleman, offer to buy the tickets, but a) that's not obligatory; b) don't pick anything too expensive (like a fancy restaurant) so that your girl doesn't feel like you're trying to ';buy'; her. Try to make it all as casual as possible, because both you and your girl will just be testing the waters, seeing how much you like each other, and there has to be an easy way out in case thing don't seem to work. And don't forget that a good friend-girl is also a treasure, not just a girlfriend, so be open to all possibilities. Good luck!Ive been haveing trouble asking girls on a date. Does anyone have any advice that might help me?
i was like you afraid of rejection.but you know what if they say no,who cares.but if you dont ask,you might lose out on something good.so its worth the risk, take it.if they do say no,then all that means is your not right for them and not that your ugly or a bad person.Ive been haveing trouble asking girls on a date. Does anyone have any advice that might help me?
=] alot of guys have issues with this. haha. but i can honestly say that if your shy it will make things alot more awkward. you just have to relax and be yourself. be hapy, smile. let her know that she can be open with you, whether she wants to be with you or not. annd if you are rejected its ohkay to be disappointed but dont try to make the girl feel bad, because then after that it may be awkward for you both. =] good luck!

i was like you afraid of rejection.but you know what if they say no,who cares.but if you dont ask,you might lose out on something good.so its worth the risk, take it.if they do say no,then all that means is your not right for them and not that your ugly or a bad person.Ive been haveing trouble asking girls on a date.

What is going on here and what is your advice??? Help!!!?
A what is now ex-friend is calling and their number is no longer blocked when they call you...does this mean they want to try and be friends and apologize? I recently had a argument with someone and they accused me of something. I am sure they must have found out because they never call me from a number that is not blocked. i was too upset and surprised to pick up. should i call back or leave it alone? what does this mean? i just want to stay away from people with drama but i want to know...once accused never a friend right? i mean i didn't do anything and they didn't stick up for me...but now they kno..the truth always comes out. i wouldn't make a big deal of it but i was curious why now? why call after months of agonizing me? plus i was hurt alot by this and i'm still hurt by this. What is going on here and what is your advice??? Help!!!?
Where I came from, your friends always get your back. Even when it means picking you up out of the mud.
It sounds like you were betrayed and that is very difficult to get over.
If it were me, I'd leave the ex friend alone and move on the best you can. Happiness could be missed should you spend a lot of time on this. What is going on here and what is your advice??? Help!!!?
By the way it sounds who ever it is, is trying to make up with you and if they were a friend of yours listen to there reason..then that way you can clear the air and be able to deal from there. The hurt can probably ease off a bit.. Good luck..
Agree with the first person who responded. Send your exfriend a detailed email explaining the way you felt/feel and see what the reply is, sometimes people make mistakes, I know I lost a very good friend for over 12 months because someone lied to me about him and thank god he said that he would see me and when we saw each other for the first time I burst into tears and apologised and he forgave me instantly. I made a mistake, I admitted it, beat myself up about it and asked forgiveness, I hurt him very much, but he forgave me and now we're better friends than ever.
Good Luck xxx
Well, it sounds a little strange that the ex-friend would ring after all this time from an unblocked number (knowing you can tell where its' coming from).
Perhaps you could pick it up next time. It seems odd that they ring. I would think a letter might be a better bet, I'd be too ashamed to phone you after that. But obviously they are trying to make contact and hoping you will answer.
Very difficult. Do you live with anybody? Can they pick up the phone instead?
You could write them a small note and say ';I felt it was easier to write to you under the circumstances. I have noticed lately that your number is showing up at times when the phone rings. This has been a bit of a shock to me after everything that has happened and I do not know whether you are phoning for a good or bad reason. At the moment, I am just too hurt by all this to pick up the phone, as I really don't know what i'll get on the end of of it. If you wish to contact me at all, please just write something instead. I am way too upset to chat by voice and I am sure you would understand that.';
That's just an option for you. Because I would feel the same way, I would feel sick if the phone rang and it was that person after all that. Seeing their number and having no idea what would happen on the end of the phone.
So writing is probably much wiser and safer at this point. Also, if the person writes anything nasty, you can use it against them if necessary.
ignore the calls. or change your number if you do not want to deal with these people. if you can forgive do so even if you cant forget. if they are drama stay clear of these sort of people. thanks
probably they wanna make up with u......just let them call back if they're sincere......u can answer it n' listen for their explanation.....give them chance.....u'll feel better in that way...good luck

Tell her the idea as a joke at first
If she takes interest in it, tell her you would be willing if her husband is
If she doesn't take interest in it then reiterate that it was just a joke.
You can't go wrong with a joke.
Good luck :)
if this woman is truly your friend, you better not ask that question, and you need to find a girl friend if you want to keep going around her. friends should be treasured for life, find a woman who is not married do things with her become friends,,,and then and then let it go. drop the thought not even a hint of whats on your mind. c617p@yahoo.com
If she is married and you consider yourself a friend, you must respect her marriage. If you can't, you better not associate with her any more.
Some friend! Curb your urges she's newly married and trying for a baby!
no totally not. if you're really a friend you would never do that to her.
the best thing to do is remove yourself from the situation. she is married and that means she is off limits also she is clearly in love with her husband because she is trying to have a baby with him. if its too hard for you to restrain yourself then i would suggest removing yourself from the situation and maybe putting some distance between you and her.
If you do one of two things will happen
1) you get to nail her. AWESOME!
2) It will ruin your friendship.
Decide how much she means to you and choose.

Breeding same cross breed with cross breed? Help advice needed?
I have a collie - german shepherd cross dog and would like to breed him with a same cross *****. Can anyone offer me any advise on this? I realise that I would need to get him tested, he is just such a great dog that seems to have inherited the best of both his parents' breeds that I would like some of his puppies.
This is an idea that I am mulling over and I would appreciate any advice, knowledge and wisdom from those with experience so that I can decide whether to research the idea further or abandon the pipedream altogether....Breeding same cross breed with cross breed? Help advice needed?
The biggest problem that I see is that you would have to research both breeds and find out what genetic defects are common, then have tests run that would cover all of the possibilities. This may be a lot of different tests. Also, you would have to make sure that the female would have all of the tests done too. This would also include getting the hips on both dogs x-rayed for hip dysplasia. That usually runs in the ball park of about $1000 each dog.
It may not be financially feasible to do this, because you could not sell the mixed breed puppies for enough money to cover the vet expenses.Breeding same cross breed with cross breed? Help advice needed?
I wish you had asked this question some years back. I also have a Shepherd-Collie mix, however she has more of a Lassie look than Shepherd look. A beautiful girl, but fixed and now 16 years old. I will tell you though, that the puppies that she did have were absolutely beautiful! Good luck to you. I wish she were younger and still able to have pupppies. We would definitely be talking!
There is no valid reason for breeding yet more crossbreeds to fill the already overcrowded animal shelters. GSD x Collie is one of the commonest crosses around %26amp; certainly not the easiest to find homes for. If you did decide to go ahead with this, you would need to have your dog hip and elbow scored (around 拢200.00) , eye tested (around 拢40.00) and the male would have to be tested for haemophilia A.
The other problem is that you have no idea what horrors may lie behind his breeding which didn't come out in him but may have shown themselves in his siblings or his parents' siblings and may well reappear in his offspring.
The same costs would, of course, apply to the *****, so you are talking 拢500.00 before you even start on whelping costs, vet bills, rearing the puppies, including all their food, bedding, damage they do while they grow, advertising etc. etc. You say you would like some of his puppies - how would you like 10 or more?? Would you be in a position to take back any or all of the puppies if the new owners had to give them up for some reason at any time during their lives?
Everyone thinks their dog is ';special';, however, 99% of them are not special enough to warrant being bred from. He's special to you but it's hard enough to reproduce a fantastic dog from many generations of dedicated breeding - virtually impossible from 2 randomly bred dogs of different breeds. Treasure him for what he is.
Why breed more pups when 100 are slatered by the RAPCA each year because they can't find homes for them?
It may be difficult to find another dog with the same cross breed. It also may be difficult to find good homes for the puppies you don't want to keep.
While it's wonderful to hear that he seems to have inherited the best of his parents' breeds, you need to consider a couple of things:
1. This isn't always the case, that they inherit the best.
2. You can't predict anything about what his puppies will or will not inherit, because:
A.) You don't know anything about his parents -- health, temperament, anything.
B.) You won't know anything about the parents of the ****** you breed him to.
C.) Consider that you may end up with a puppy nothing like him, but more like his grandparents. What do you know about them?
3.) Breeding mixes -- even in the F2 generation, is never predictable. Even the people who developed purebreds by mixing culled hundreds of dogs in the process in order to get what they wanted, and this process took years. -- You aren't going to get what you want in one generation.
You should really look at adopting a ';brother'; or ';sister'; instead, and accepting the fact that your dog is one-of-a-kind.
There are plenty of great mutts and purebreds dying for lack of homes, go adopt another great mutt if you want a dog. I adopted a 2 yr old n/m Choc Lab from field lines who was a stray and was obed. trained, housebroken, loves to retrieve, isn't gunshy, loves to swim, doesn't chew, doesn't beg, doesn't get on furniture or steal food. He gets along with my 6 other dogs, the dogs at the dog park and has passed his TT eval. Why his owners dumped him is a mystery, he has no bad habits and is an easy going, affectionate, perfect pet. He was first place in his obed. class with only being worked 2 times a week. There are many many more equally great pets waiting at shelters and rescues for good permanent homes, do the doggie world a favor and adopt. It would be the best tribute to your dog.
Why would you want to unless you've already got homes lined up for the pups. There are enough abandoned dogs and puppies without adding more. They will still be mongrels, and could be difficult to re-home. Personally I love mongrels because they are all individual, but, putting this aside please don't allow any more unwanted dogs to be born. Do the sensible thing and get your dog doctored just love him for him and if you want another puppy go to dogs home and give an unwanted one a loving home.
It isn't adviceable that you breed from your dog. Even if you were to find a gsd x collie ******, there is no guarantee the pups would turn out anything like there parents. Breeding takes alot of time, effort and money and using a male pet dog for stud can have consequences as the dog can become more dominant esp with other males, attempt to mount people and be constantly on the look out for bitches. Just enjoy your dogs wonderful personality and don't create problems that don't excist.
yes don,t do it isn,t there enough unwanted puppys in the world you,d be better off casrating him
You would be breeding mutts. There are enough mutts being put down in shelters and rescues because of backyard breeders. They are the biggest contributors to the euthanizing of dogs. To many dogs and not enough homes. Please don't bring another litter of mutts into this world and be yet another backyard breeder.
The ONLY reason to breed is for the betterment of the breed.
Please, please get your dog spayed. Giving birth is very painful. Your dog could die, the puppies could die. Don't do this to your dog. Let her be a pet.
The belief that a persons dog is the best dog ever is shared by many. My personal opinion is that if you didn't feel that way about your dog,,, you have the wrong dog!!
So that really doesn't equate to a legitimate reason to breed.
What you are suggesting has been tried many times, and unfortunately it is a disaster.
F-2 puppy's will have the inheritable problems of both breeds, and lack the ';hybrid hyper'; of F-1 pups.
The reality is that anytime anyone wants to breed other than the norm, they need the advice of a Dr. of genetics (PhD)
Let me show you something:

There are over 20 generations of very careful breeding involved in accomplishing that type of consistency.
Best off leaving the breeding to those that know what they are doing. If you want to learn, find yourself a mentor that will teach you. But, wait until you know, before doing it.
When you are breeding mutts, even the same cross, there is NO WAY to predict what you will get.
Just this Feb I was faced with the decision of euthanizing my dear Micah. I knew the time was coming, old age. He was my soul mate. I got him as a puppy, we journeyed life together. He was my companion, my buddy. He was my agility dog too. He obtained championships in 3 different organizations, we qualified to attend the championship shows (you see on Animal Planet) in the 4 different venues. We took walks, went camping, shared many adventures. He slept on my bed. My heart is still broken.
I used to raise Shelties for conformation showing for decades, but when I had children, stopped. When I decided I wanted to do agility, I went to a breeder friend and chose my Micah. I had him neutered. He was a beautiful dog, very sound and athletic and a great agility dog. And a great friend.
Am I sorry I didn't keep him intact for an offspring? NO. An offspring would not have been my Micah.
When Micah starting aging, I decided to get a pup for ';emotional protection';, knowing the time would, too soon, come that I would be forced to say goodbye to him.
I surprisingly, to myself, got a Border Collie female again, for agility. She has been so bright, so easy to train, so funny and is quite the thing in agility.
I spayed her. Do I regret it? Again no.
There are tons are very great dogs out there. Leave breeding to the breeders, and rescue the ones who were boo boos.
Do dogs a favor and have your dog neutered. 3-4 MILLION dogs and cats are put to sleep in the US every year (mostly mixed breeds) because there are not enough homes for them. Collie/Shepard mix is common in shelters and there is absolutely no way of telling how the pups would turn out.
Don't become part of the dog over population problem.
DON'T even full breed dogs should be bred selectively
first you don't know how the puppies will turn out.
Secondly if you dont have people lined up for them then what.
Thirdly even then people can back out.
If you educate yourself and still want to try then go ahead. But remember you have the male finding a female may be hard most people don't like breeding mutts. And many people forget that many of the ';pure breeds'; were at one time concidered mutts
I know it is tempting to breed your dog because he is so wonderful and you'd like another just like him. However, like other people have said, there's no guarantee that the puppies will be anything like him. Even with purebred dogs, it is unpredictable. Experienced breeders will watch to see which stud dogs tend to pass on their good genes and which don't. Dogs that pass on good genes are then seen as proven studs and more dependable. With a mixed breed dog, it is much more unpredictable.
It's a shame that dogs don't live as long as we'd like them to. I understand how you feel. But just think of all the people that aren't as lucky as you to have the great dog that you have. Enjoy him for as long as you can. Luckily with mixed breeds they tend to live longer than pure breeds!
You could ask your vet what they think. If both dogs being bred have a similar personality the personalities of the puppies should be good. I would just check into what kind of health issues you may be breeding into the puppies. You could research that on-line.
if you breed three generations of them you can register as a new pedigree. you will not guarantee the temperament of the pups

Help/advice with headlight bulbs?
I have a 2003 Saturn L300 and I am looking at putting in some Nokya Magnum Cosmic White size H11. The bulbs I have in now are 55w and theses are 85w do I need to put in an HID kit or should they work with the stock setup?Help/advice with headlight bulbs?
I tried the exact same thing on my fiesta. It melted the stalk switch and almost caused a fire. As most cabling is rated at the bare minimum for cost reasons, you are advised to replace the main feeds - and earths with a double wire, or relpace with an uprated wire. Take a main feed from the battery+ through an inline fuse kit - to the contacts of a heavy duty relay - from there to your lights. Use your existing wiring to power the relay.
To recap you need - Heavy cabling for 2x100w, single contact HD relay, Inline fuse.Help/advice with headlight bulbs?
I agree with ';Mr. P'; assessment.
If you are looking for an HID effect - then get an HID kit but don't shortcut the process by sticking higher powered bulbs into a socketed rated at a lower rating. Some engineer got paid big bucks to design the lighting system on your car - including the materials in the bulb socket. I wouldn't risk a meltdown and possible fire situation to get an HID effect.
Just chunk down the ';benjamins'; and get the kit that again is designed by some high $$$$$$ engineer and do it right the first time - rather than risk a very costly ';meltdown';.
Thumbs up to ';Mr. P'; for his answer!!!!

Im a 15-year-old sophomore male and short (4'2';). I need advice. Help!?
Im a 15-year-old sophomore male and short (4'2';) and Im in marching band. Since Im short, I have to make my steps larger than other people's steps. It hurts like crap. Any advice to help my steps in marching?Im a 15-year-old sophomore male and short (4'2';). I need advice. Help!?
I am so ashamed to be human if the rest of these idiots call themselves human too.
I am short, too. When I was in the military I had to lengthen my stride a lot. It helped to swing my hips as I stepped. Try to stay off your toes as much as possible because it can contribute to stress fractures and those aren't fun. When I say stay off your toes, it's because I used to put a spring into my step using my toes to maybe get another couple of inches with each stride. Don't do that! Good luck to you.
BTW, the idiot comment wasn't for the ones who are honestly trying to help.Im a 15-year-old sophomore male and short (4'2';). I need advice. Help!?
Get some advice from the gym teacher on the right exercises, especially stretching exercises, which require warm-up exercises before attempting them. You absolutely NEED to exercise for those long strides If you don't care for exercise, you can't get much help in that area. Also make sure you get the most suitable footwear to help your gait.
Not a whole lot that you can do there. Just keep trying and take the big steps. Or drop out of marching band if it hurts you to much. Go to the doctor and get checked to see if there is a reason why you haven't grown taller. There are some med's they give to some people to help them grow taller. Don't worry so much about being short and enjoy high school and have fun.
firstly, ignore the rude comments on here. people are just waisting their time. one of my best guy friends is around your height and tells me about problems like these at times..
sometimes doing lunges and all will help build leg muscle and ease the tension of making large steps. if you jump it may look a little bit funny. try not to step toe-first because that can hurt (i used to whenever i did tredmill stuff, eased tension when i stopped though), and using your hips to aide your momentum (like swinging em) will probably help too.
hey i was in band. but i think there nothing u can do but make larger steps. when u do right and left pinwheels try 2 b the person on tha end or close 2 that person on the end who dosnt hardly move. good luck
Umm I really don't know how you can help that... just make sure you don't jump because your gonna look like a bunny hopping across the place. (No offense)

Where can I get advice to get help with debt settlement companies that take your money? Payed nothing!?
if you have signed a contract you are out of luck -- if not just do not pay them any more money!!! chalk up the loss to experience!!!Where can I get advice to get help with debt settlement companies that take your money? Payed nothing!?
Debt settlement companies will generally pay nothing until you have enough funds accumulated to settle debts. Since most banks will not deal with them (Bank of America, Chase, GE Money, HSBC, and Citi), I would suggest asking for your money back. If they refuse, contact the attorney general of both your state and the state in which they are located (Generally TX, CA, FL, or MA). Good Luck!
