i have a debate for english class on the 14th. my topic is


drinking age should be lowered to 18 and im for it i quess

How old do you have to be to vote. Here it is 18. If a person is old enough to vote, go to war , earn an adult wage, he or she is by definition an adult and a fully contributing member of society. Therefore he or she has a right to a drink. My number one tip would be prepared and well rehearsed. If you have to speak in response to someone else make notes about their speech as they go along and hopefully you will be able to make some sparkling comment when you make yours that refutes their argument. At 18 a person can die for their country in battle but not drink.


They can get married but not enjoy a glass of champagne at their own wedding.





...but at 18 a person is still going through changes in their bodies which can impair their judgement greatly while under the influence of alcohol.





I think the drinking age is 18 in Louisiana.
a lot of people say that wen u take something away, people want it more..if the drinking age is 21, ppl will drink underage no matter wat, and theres a higher chance of getting addicted?


By lowering the drinking age, more people wld wait and more ppl wld be educated...
