do you think someone that cant makefacial exoressions that much (due to a facial paralisis on one side) can become an actress?? please, be honestActing advice...help?
facial expressions are not the key to good acting. the way your express the meaning and emotion of the lines is. Audition for all the plays you can and don't even mention your paralisis. If a director says anything about it tell him you would like to discuss it with him in private. By all means give acting a try. audition for all the plays you can,.Acting advice...help?
Of course you could, but it would likely limit your roles. You might not be the romantic lead all the time.
If you're talented, you could be a great dramatic actor, and a great character actor. Think shows like ER, Grey's Anatomy, CSI, etc...
Stage acting could also be great as it's harder to see the finer details from the audience!!
Good luck.
You can do anything you want too! I'm physically disabled (a minor limp when I walk) and I'm still able to get casted in my high school productions. I realize that high school productions are probably not the same to a ';real'; audition. But, the same principles apply.
Do what makes you happy, a minor disability shouldn't set you back. ever!
I don't know maybe. I wouldn't have a problem with it, but Hollywood is based on appearances way too much. They think everyone is a size 0 supermodel.
Good luck in your endeavors!!
I don't see why not. The director can then accentuate your other qualities and talents.
Maybe in a character role.
