Help - Advice for dyslexic looking for work........?

My brother in law is just about to leave school and has very severe dyslexia. We're all worried about what sort of work he can find or if there are any schemes / initiatives around which help people get started?

Basically, he can't read or write and has little attention span. Combine this with a teenage attitude and I'ts looking grim! But on the plus side he can learn, is practical and intuitive.

Please help!!!!!!!!!!!!!Help - Advice for dyslexic looking for work........?
What about retail? He can then shine in other areas like customer service. In terms or aspirations, he could have the chance to work up the ladder etc. If he chose a sector he was particularly interested in i.e mobile phones, music, clothes etc, this would give him a better chance of holding his attention. My dad is severely dyslexic and was a carpenter by trade - he then taught at a college of woodwork - he's now 73 and is a councilor for the local authority! - his determination and sense of humour and, the help of his family, friends and work colleagues has meant that he has achieved more than many people without this condition. Good luck to him!Help - Advice for dyslexic looking for work........?
