What is some advice you can provide to help other students avoid plagiarism?

All students get ideas from their sources. I think the best advice is to ask the students to ';steal'; the ideas, but not the expression of the ideas. It gets them trying to understand the material (which is the point anyway).

Oh, and of course, they should cite the sources. What is some advice you can provide to help other students avoid plagiarism?
No matter what always be using words that are put together by your mind. Quotes are called quotes for a reason. What is some advice you can provide to help other students avoid plagiarism?
u can ask them to bring a copy of the sources they used, whether it was from a book or magazine or any other sources, may they write the source as well as bring a copy of it.

i know it may be illogical, because the sources may be more then 50 pages sometimes but my instructors used to do this.
Tell the students ';originality takes you into life beyond university';.
Use your own brain instead.
tell them to use the source for getting ideas in other words they have to use thier on brain but can use other people work as a guide. by plagiat other people work doesn't make themself move forward just stay still at the same old spot.
