My dog has cancer,we toke her to the vet and they removed it,but it came back we would spend 10,000 dollars a year, and we cant.My parents said that all we can do to wait.

Any ideas?

Please i need help!My dog has cancer i need advice! help!?
Have you brought your dog to a canine oncologist? That is not a bad idea. Their specialty is cancer, so they will be your best resource.

My best advice is to pray! I truly believe in the power of prayer. You, your family, and your dog will be in my prayers..

I wish you the best of luck.My dog has cancer i need advice! help!?
i'm very sorry. my 13 yr Aussie has inoperable cancer. we inherited him and it was already too late. the vet has us giving him prednasone every other day to slow the progress of the cancer, but he's still bouncy and eats and drinks the way he should. it's only a matter of time and we've excepted that. in the meantime we love and cherish every day with him. ask your vet if prednasone would help.
The best thing to do is to find out what kind of cancer your dog has and do as much research as you can... My dog past away a year ago from lymphoma cancer, we couldnt afford radiation and there was no way to remove the cancer so her life expectancy was only 4-6 weeks she passed away in exactly 6 weeks.. The best thing to do is comfort your dog and do as much research as possible and you will find others who have gone through and are going through the same exact thing... it will help a lot
I have learned from watching the old show on Animal Planet ';Emergency Vets'; is that cancer in dogs is never curable, you can either keep removing the tumors which as you found out is going to get expensive and quick or have her put down, because you will put an end to needless suffering for your pet. You and your family have to do what is in your pet's best interest. Sorry but that is basically the only solution. You are free to consult with what one of the other answerers suggested but if they find that the cancer is the fast growing kind, like it sounds like it is, then they will recommend you put your beloved dog to sleep and end her suffering.
if all you can do is wait then all you can do is wait!
well, unfortunately, this is a part of being a pet owner..dealing with the consequences that come with it, good or bad.

just care for and maintain her health as best as you can. When you think her health is so bad that her quality of life is no longer worth living, don't keep her around for you, that would be selfish.
Have your vet refer your dog to a veterinary oncologist to discuss your options. I find that alot of regular vets don't have the time to keep up with oncology practices because protocols change monthly. Making an appointment with the oncologist will give you ideas about realities of treatment versus hospice care. Tell the onco doc your expectations (long term survival/';cure'; or alleviating symptoms), how much you can comfortably spend, etc. Making that appointment does not mean that you HAVE to do therapy, but it will give you options. If you are going to use ';natural'; therapies, please find a vet that is well versed in naturopathic medicine, not one of those people with an online degree. Many ';natural'; medications can have very bad side effects when combined. Remember, strychnine is from a plant...
I AM SO SORRY TO HEAR THIS. BE STRONG NOT ONLY FOR YOURSELF....BUT FOR YOUR BUDDY AS WELL.

THERE ARE SOME SITES ON THE NET THAT OFFER DIET FOR DOGS WITH CANCER.

I GOT THE BAD NEWS ABOUT MY BUDDY ON MY BIRTHDAY...THAT WAS 6 MONTHS AGO.

HE WAS NEARLY 190 POUNDS...NOW HE IS ONLY 80!!

I WENT THROUGH SOME CHEMO, ACUPUNCTURE AND OTHER REMEDIES.

THE CANCER IS RAPID SPREADING.

NOTHING ANYONE CAN DO.

THERE IS NO ONE MORE LOYAL THAN A DOG. WE ARE LUCKY TO HAVE THEM IN OUT LIVES. SPEND EACH DAY LOVING AND PLAYING. I HOPE A MIRACLE HAPPENS.

BEST TO YOU ALL...AND ESPECIALLY YOUR DOG!!!!
just make its days as comfortable as possible and consider human euthanasia when she can't move,

Really sorry for your situation, it is a very hard moment, but you have to be strong.
thr isnt always a miracle pill for everything, sadly. life can be very unfair cant it. even steve urwin ( australia zoo) lost his beloved dog to cancer.

even if you could afford the treatment, there's still only a small chance of success. why dont you put all your energy and love into giving your dog as much comfort and happiness possible.

im just sorry i can't wave a magic wand and wish her better for you!!
it sounds like your dog has a higher then stage 3 cancer...which means the reason why it keeps coming back is that when the first tumor grew cancer cells broke off of it and are all around your dogs body and each cell can start its own tumor randomly... i dont know if theres chemotherapy for dogs but it sounds like he might need that, all i can say is pray and i wish you and your family the best

by the way you dont need to put a terminally ill dog with cancer to sleep unless u see it is suffering because some cancers are silent and wont suffer your dog until the tumor gets extremely large and your dog may even live a full life with it! but thats in best scenario situations so i think all u really can do is wait and pray... i'm so sorry the same thing happened to a bird i had for 15 years and we had to put it to sleep because we couldnt surgically remove the first tumor
Oh man, I'm totally sorry about your dog. I had the same problem with one of my cats. We couldn't afford to help her either. The only thing I can tell you as of now is live life like before. You can't suddenly change your attitude toward your dog. I did with my cat and she TOTALLY picked up on it and got depressed because she knew I was treating her differently. Just go on about life with your dog. Unfortunately IF or when the cancer finally begins to talk a hold on it decide if it's better to let it pass without pain by getting it put to sleep, or something else. I didn't catch my cats cancer in time, and she suffered and I felt awful about it and would've gotten her put down just to save her some pain. I know it's hard to think about, but you have to think about what's best for your pet.
Look online for natural remedies for dogs you can try.
If the cancer is terminal why suffer or make the dog suffer? You may as well put the dog to sleep if thats the case However if it can be treated then yes I say try a canine oncologist if you can
