Martin Smith who regularly appears on Radio 2, is passionate about putting people back in control of their finances, to make wise choices and correct past mistakes:

” We, my wife and I, are on a seven-year plan with CCCS having recently changed from a commercial debt management company after hearing Martin on Radio 2's Jeremy Vine show. The simple action of swapping to the CCCS has shaved over two years off the length of our plan as the money we were paying the management company now goes to our creditors instead! Of course, that also means a financial saving of nearly eight grand over the term of the original plans 10 year period.”

Martin recommends CAB, but also another charity: Consumer Credit Counselling Service 0800 138 1111Can citizens advice help me to lower my loan repayments as im always struggling to keep up?

No citizens advice cannot help you on this. Search the Internet and the newspapers
Yes the CAB are wonderful. They are able to do all kinds of negotiating on your behalf, and if it is beyond their remit, they can put you in touch with an agency who can help. Don't waste any time, go see them now. Good luck
