Has anyone used IVF with ICSI to get pregnant? DId it work? How long did it take? Any advice will help!?

I'm from Germany and had an ICSI in Oct. 2006. And I麓m feeding one of my twins in the middle of the night right now. We had only one try and it worked. I know that this is very rare - but don麓t give up the hope and believe in it. Don麓t be under pressure (easier said than done -I know). Be sure how many ovums you wanna get back. I took two and got twins. Your doc shoul explain very carefully the chances to get more than one baby if you take more than one ovum.


What do you mean with ';how long did it take';? The tries or the complete phase incl. stimulation? That was about three weeks.

My husband and I decided on IVF with ICSI after 3 years ttc. We were extremely lucky that it worked the first attempt. I just gave birth to a beautiful, healthy baby boy 13 days ago.





I always suggest that every couple discuss their options with their fertility specialist to determine the best route to conceiving.
