Can you help me I need an electrician advice?

I purchased a steel shipping container the kind they use for shipping to china, I plan to use it as a shelter from tornadoes and barry it half way in the ground

anyway how should I protect it from lightning?

I need a list of parts

also I have asked this question in the past and people said it does not need a ground so I need an electrician expert so my family don't get hurt

any info pleaseCan you help me I need an electrician advice?
That container is built of heavy metal right?

If in contact with the ground anything inside will be quite safe,

as the electricity will be carried through the metal walls to the ground.

Google or wiki ';Faraday Cage' if you don't believe me.

You might consider venting the continer to handle the pressure changes,

and 'bunkering it' full height as pressure change and debris blown

at low levels are significant tornado dangers. Can you help me I need an electrician advice?
by burying it you are grounding it,

when you get it half way in then pile dirt on top %26amp; all over it

[ mound it over it]

put a rubber mat on the floor [cover the floor] use plastic chairs

on the mat stay on the rubber , [don,t touch the steel ]
HALFway in the ground? So it's exposed? Then you CAN'T protect IT from lightning, you can only protect YOU from getting fried touching IT. Insulate the area that you and your family will be in. Lightning may get the container, but it won't get YOU unless you are touching it!
No need to ground the unit
