Need advice about a friend at school help please?

Theres this girl at school she is nice but say you say that you like a certain type of food that she doesn't like she says that you are a weird person and if you want to have any friends you have to stop liking that type of stuff. And if i don't like some thing belonging to you to be a certain way she would say well i like it like that so you are keeping it like that.She does worse stuff that i don't want to say but please give me some advice.Need advice about a friend at school help please?
What you need to understand is that just because she doesn't like something about you, doesn't mean you have to do it. ';Oh well nobody else will like you....'; BS!!! She is only saying this because that's how she wants it and thinks that maybe it will scare you into doing it. You need to not believe her! Hang out with other people and dress how you want to and be who you are. Once she sees this she might realize that you are happy without her controlling you and people love being around you because of it. If she still has a problem then you need to tell her. Tell her that you don't like it the same way she does so if she wants it like that, then she can dress that way, you need to tell her that bossing your ';friends'; around or whatever you want to call her and keeping them on a leash is no way to have friends. No one else has stood up to you but maybe it's because they are afraid to say something. You need to tell her that you will dress the way you want and be who you are. Make it clear that all the things she has done to you is not something a friend does to their friend and that has to stop as well. And honestly, you might not want to hear this but if she doesn't agree then you need to tell her that your done then. You don't want to be her doll, you want to be her friend and because she doesn't want to stop, then she just lost a good friend. hang out with some of your other friends and do what you want and what you feel comfortable with and you will realize that yeah you might be upset to lose her as a friend but then that you are so much more happier without a monkey on your shoulder telling you what to do. She's bossy and controlling. Since she is this way, she's going to try and make people the friends she wishes she had.





You don't ever let someone tell you what you like is wrong (unless its like, drugs or something that's bad)





but anyway, tell her that you are who you are, you love yourself, and you are NOT going to stand there and let someone tell you what you can and can not like.





she sounds like a real jerk.
well she doesn't seem very nice to me!





but if you do want to stay friends I suggest you talk to her about it and let her know that not everyone has to like the same thing as her and its unfair to think they should... or something like that...

She is very controlling. My advice is to stay away from her and be yourself. Remove yourself from that situation and I think you will be much happier with yourself, and probably even make tons of friends.
I recommend you that you tell her exactly how you feel. This happened to me once, I told my friend and she felt really sorry and we became best friends! Hope this helps!!!! :D
